The oldest cob building is believed to be over 10,000 years old! Some of the oldest cave art is made of Ocher pigment, the same pigment we use in our clay paints and plasters today. These days most of us live in modern homes finished with drywall and paint. These materials are versatile and easy to access however they have their limits and disadvantages. Today, you don't have to have a staw bale home or a home built with wattle and daub - you can transform nearly any modern space with "natural" plasters and paints to achieve the beauty and ambiance of an earth-built, or old-world home.
